ACES is searching for a reliable individual to coordinate the ACES registration with each hosting club, manage rider event data/results and manage scoring equipment. This would be for the 2018 ACES season (and beyond if it works out).

The individual will be trained in the LiveLaps software (for restart-format events) and Berkut Race Timer software (for time-keeping events). Both software platforms are simple to use.

DUTIES:
-Manage rider check-in and confirm that the event’s rider data is in the respective software for said events.
-Manage the android phones used for gathering check-point data (ensure they are charged for race, etc.) for restart-format events.
-Key in time-card scores (with the host club help) for time-keeping events.
-Coordinate all of the ACES scoring equipment for each event, including ACES laptops and TV, android phones, LiveLaps transponder chips and cradlepoint long-range internet device, or local internet for each restart-format event.
-Work with each hosting club prior to the event to find a source of internet at each event location (either LTE or onsite WiFi)
-Coordinate helpers from each club to enter in registrants into the appropriate scoring system
-Setup and manage system for 6 p.m. sign-up on Saturday evening, and 7-9:30 a.m. signup on Sunday morning.

RESTART EVENTS:
-Disperse and retrieve android phones to/from each check crew at each event, including teaching the crews how to operate the phones (simple).
-Auto-sync race data from android devices and assist club referee with “fixing” scores as needed.
-Assist with providing LiveLaps event score data to ACES Points Coordinator, if needed.

TIME-KEEPER EVENTS:
-Set-up the event check types in Race Timer, and enter rider data.
-Key in event scores
-Provide event score data to ACES Points Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS:
You MUST be 100% reliable and trustworthy. Period.
Be comfortable with electronics. (phones, PCs, etc.)
Be a good communicator.
Work well under some pressure.
You’ll need windows computer operation skills and knowledge. (Excel, Word, general functions).
Basic network understanding is a plus.
Be able to bring the scoring equipment to / from the race events and store in a safe environment between races.

Payscale: $300 per ACES Enduro event or $2 per rider (whichever is greater).

Must be able to attend all ACES events for 2018*. Dates to be determined.
*Note: National Events that occur in ACES Region shall be scored by NEPG. The ACES scoring agent will need to gather ACES rider data for said event.
