The Appalachian Championship Enduro Series will host Round 3 (Round 2 was rescheduled) this Sunday, April 10, in Shade, Ohio. Voted “Favorite ACES Enduro of the Year” in 2012 and 2013, the Lost in Lodi Enduro is always a huge community gathering, as the proceeds of the event benefit the Richland Area Volunteer Fire Department.

“We have laid out approximately 55 ground miles of trail,” said Greg Meeks, president of the Lost in Lodi Enduro Group. “We are excited to have the ACES racers back to experience not only the friendly competition, but to support the community of Shade.”

There will be sign up on Saturday, April 9, from 6-7 p.m., and again on Sunday from 7-9:30 a.m. A gas trailer will be available for racers who do not have friends or family to pit for them.

For competitors choosing to camp, there is space available at the Shade Community Center. It is all primitive camping (no water/electric).

There will also be a dinner for an $8 donation on Saturday from 4:30-7 p.m. Dinner includes an entree, mashed potatoes, green beans, drink and dessert. There will also be concessions at the fire department on Sunday. The Shade Store, located just a half-block away, will also be open all weekend.

About ACES
Established in 2008, Appalachian Championship Enduro Series (ACES) is an American Motorcyclist Association-sanctioned off-road racing series. Majority of the events are held in Southern Ohio. However, in 2015, three new events/clubs were added to the series which expanded the race locations to include Pennsylvania and Indiana. The series now features 12 rounds hosted by 12 different clubs and boasts a mix of timekeeping races and restart format races.
